FYI Systems and Networks

Our email was down, couldn't get on-line, we were dead in the water  for 2 days trying to figure out what was going on! Called Jim Enlow who very quickly got his service tech to our office and within a few hours he verified the problem and fixed it. And rewired some of our existing connections to run more efficiently. We are so dependent on this technology, nice to know Jim is there to troubleshoot.

Daniel and Lulu Loh bring outstanding customer service and wonderful designs and knowledge to every order. There is nothing like fresh flowers to brighten someone's day, celebrate an event or bring comfort to someone who is ill. They've made special trips to the hospital (after hours) when my husband was undergoing open heart surgery to make sure he received his wonderful arrangements. Their kindness meant a lot. It is how they treat customers. How cool is that!

My folks always had a special relationship with their jeweler when we lived near Philadelphia. They taught me early that fine jewelry was well worth the investment, but even more important was the trust you had in your jeweler. I've been dealing with Jim Jessop since 1987. That trust is paramount in my mind and I've found it there. Jim and his staff are certified gemologists, which means they know what they are doing when it come to the quality of stones. My husband has surprised me with many wonderful pieces over the years and I hope that never stops. I love seeing the Jessop name on a gift and being spoiled!

Walter Andersen's Nursery

I love plants, you can tell by my yard and patio and deck and porch, all adorned with a cacophony of pots and planters...from Walter Andersen's Nursery. Each spring and fall and sometimes in between fresh little faces are purchased to perk up our landscape. Questions are answered by folks I know on a first name basis who have been with the company for years. They are an institution in San Diego whose roots go deep into our community. They will receive my business until poppy's are planted on my grave.

If so, Nelson Photo is your one-stop shop for all things photographic.  They've updated with the times but I suspect if you are dying for some traditional items they can accommodate you as well. Another institution in San Diego on India Street, Nancy and Jerry will make sure you find what you need. I'm due for an upgraded digital camera...better take care of that soon. Guess where I'll go.
