About Entertainment Solutions West
Bernie Kaye has been in the music and entertainment
business since 1952. He started out as a singer performing
in nightclubs throughout the United States.
In 1955, he decided that traveling all over the country
without any roots was not what he wanted to do for the
rest of his life. Bernie went into the business of providing
music for private parties and conventions in the New
York City area. From doing just music, he branched out
into handling entertainment productions.
In 1977, Bernie packed up his family and moved to sunny
San Diego. By 1980, he was building a fine reputation
as a bandleader/entertainer and the business started
to grow. In 1987, he added entertainment productions
to his company roster.
In 1997, the name of the business was changed from
The Music People to Entertainment Solutions West. This
describes more fully the scope of the company. Entertainment
Solutions West is now the parent company that books
all types of local and name entertainment and many of
the local name bands. Bernie's company can handle a
full production that will include the talent, lighting,
staging, sound, props and decor. In this area of the
industry, attention to the smaller details is what makes
for his success.
For events that cannot use live music due to budget
constraints, there is a Disc Jockey subsidiary of Entertainment
Solutions West. With our D. J. /Karaoke people, we can
offer a wide selection of musical styles from big band
to the latest hits and top forty music. This is not
only economical but it gives the client continuous music
at an affordable price.
Beneficial leads would be anyone who is planning any
type of a special event, convention, wedding, corporate
or executive party that will need one musician or entertainer
up to a full concert band or one entertainer to a full
production or even just a Disc Jockey.
